Nestled in the southeastern corner of Vilas County in northern Wisconsin, the Town of Washington was established in 1914. It has about 1,600 residents and is located just outside the City of Eagle River. Part of the Town is located on the world famous Eagle River Chain of Lakes. The Town Hall is at 2301 Town Hall Road, in the home of the historic old Mayo School. The Town of Washington does not hold regular office hours. Please contact the Town Clerk or one of the Town Board members with any questions you may have or to schedule an appointment.
The Town of Washington is governed by two elected Supervisors and one elected Chairperson. Monthly board meetings are held the first Monday of each month. Agendas are posted at the Wild Eagle Corner Store, MJ's Wayside, the Town Hall and here on our website.
