We are asking residents to please refrain from taking sand from the gravel pit, located on the same property as the brush site.
Town officials have observed individuals removing sand from this area, and we want to clarify its purpose.
The sand stored at the Brush Site/Gravel Pit is reserved exclusively for town operations—including road maintenance, shoulder repair, and winter sanding to keep our roads safe during icy conditions. When sand is taken, it directly impacts the town crew’s ability to maintain roads and respond effectively during winter storms.
