Trex Program a Big Success
We extend our gratitude to all residents who participated in the Trex Bag Challenge. Since February 2023, we have successfully collected 3,500 pounds of plastic materials. In recognition of this achievement, Trex has awarded the Town of Washington two Trex benches.
To show our appreciation to the residents of the Town, at the June town board meeting, we will conduct a drawing for the Trex benches among those who hold a transfer station permit. There is no need to register separately; all permit holders will be automatically entered into this complimentary drawing.
Winners will be notified via mail. Rich will either deliver the bench to your residence, or you may choose to collect it at the transfer station during regular operating hours. Please note that identification will be required for bench collection.
