Do you need to dispose of old computer equipment, residential appliances, electronics, tires, or other qualifying items?
Vilas County Recycling Amnesty Program allows Vilas County property owners to obtain a voucher, which is good for $15 towards the cost of properly disposing of or recycling tires, appliances, and electronics.
Items can be taken to the Highway G Landfill, Republic Services (Eagle Waste) in Eagle River, or Advanced Disposal in Minocqua. It is recommended that residents contact the providers to determine what materials the locations accept and what costs are associated with each type of item.
Cost reduction vouchers have a maximum value of $15. There is a limit of 2 vouchers per household per year. The vouchers expire 60 days from the issued date.
Vouchers are available from our town clerk or the Vilas County Zoning Office in Eagle River and are valid for 60 days from the date of issuance.
